Urgent requirement: site safety steward (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in Hunt County, Texas. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Day to day you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
