Backhoe operator — Ozaukee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Performance bonus on top of base pay.
