Reinforcement fitter — Gillespie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Gillespie County, Texas. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. The role involves read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
