Now hiring: we are hiring a QC inspector in Keokuk County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits On a typical shift you will compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch.
