Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Cambridgeshire, England. You will work at a garment factory. On a typical shift you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
