Backhoe operator — Golden Valley County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Golden Valley County, North Dakota. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. The role involves track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
