Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Brooks County, Texas. You will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
