Structural MIG welder — Swift County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Swift County, Minnesota. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
