Industrial sewing operator wanted in Centre County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Centre County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
