Mobile crane operator — Carroll County

Join our team: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Carroll County, Kentucky. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work Full-time with occasional weekends.
