Now hiring: we are hiring a hoist operator in Oju, Benue State. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals The role involves read and interpret the load chart before every lift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger.
