Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Day-to-day duties: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
