Join our team: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Gogebic County, Michigan. The role involves attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts.
