Join our team: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Cumbria, England. The job is on a high-rise construction site. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Your main tasks: • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate 5+ years on the tools preferred.
