Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Perry County, Mississippi. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges On the job you will handle: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
