Join our team: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Miami County, Indiana. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Your main tasks: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Full-time with occasional weekends.
