Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Franklin County, Vermont. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. The role involves set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Six days a week, one day off.
