Immediate opening: we are hiring a ductable AC technician in Kankakee County, Illinois. Requirements: • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience The role involves insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
