Godown forklift operator • Kent County, Rhode Island

Immediate opening: we are hiring a godown forklift operator in Kent County, Rhode Island. Your main tasks: • Top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains • Load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers • Keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book • Sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
