Gas pipe fitter — Northampton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Northampton County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Your main tasks: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
