Die-casting operator • Crane County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Crane County, Texas. You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
