Vacancy available: road roller operator (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring a road roller operator in Wyoming County, New York. You will work at a stone quarry. Day to day you will backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
