Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Callahan County, Texas. You will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Six days a week, one day off.
