Immediate opening: lathe operator (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in Fort Bend County, Texas. You will report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
