Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Arochukwu, Abia State. The job is in an open-cast mine. You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery On a typical shift you will break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
