Immediate opening: we are hiring a workshop mechanic in Christian County, Illinois. The job is in a fleet maintenance depot. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts On the job you will handle: • Replace brake pads, discs and callipers • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair • Replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends 6+ years on the tools preferred.
