Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Clay County, Kentucky. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
