Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Polk County, Wisconsin. The role involves: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 1+ years on the tools preferred.
