Plant operator • Wayne County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Wayne County, Ohio. You will be based in a textile mill. Ideal candidate: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges On the job you will handle: • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
