Dispatch rider — Ford County

Join our team: we are hiring a dispatch rider in Ford County, Illinois. You will work at an e-commerce last-mile depot. What we are looking for: • Basic reading and number skills to handle addresses and cash • Ability to ride safely in heavy traffic and in monsoon rain Day-to-day duties: • Wear a helmet and reflective jacket and follow road-safety rules • Collect parcels and documents from the despatch hub at the start of each shift • Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end • Capture proof of delivery with a customer signature or photo on the handset • Handle fragile and perishable items with care while riding • Plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation 3+ years on the tools preferred.
