Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Ouray County, Colorado. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. The role involves clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square. You should have: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
