Surface coating operator wanted in Keweenaw County

Join our team: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Keweenaw County, Michigan. The job is at a fabrication and coating plant. On the job you will handle: • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
