Laundry presser — Kibiya

Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Kibiya, Kano State. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Performance bonus on top of base pay.
