Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Burnett County, Wisconsin. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances The role involves: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
