Tig welder — Independence County

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Independence County, Arkansas. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
