Brick and block layer — Watonwan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Watonwan County, Minnesota. Day-to-day duties: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 3+ years on the tools preferred.
