HSE supervisor — Orleans County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HSE supervisor in Orleans County, New York. The job is at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites 3+ years on the tools preferred.
