Turning centre operator — Oye

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Oye, Ekiti State. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm The role involves: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Rotating shifts.
