Sewing machine operator wanted in Jefferson Davis County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Meals and transport allowance provided.
