Head baker wanted in Solano County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Solano County, California. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Requirements: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Day-to-day duties: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
