Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Big Stone County, Minnesota. Requirements: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Day-to-day duties: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
