Concrete placer — Dikwa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Dikwa, Borno State. The job is in a residential housing project. Day-to-day duties: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
