Fabrication workshop technician — Gage County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Gage County, Nebraska. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. You will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Performance bonus on top of base pay.
