Crawler crane operator — Summit County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Summit County, Colorado. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day to day you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
