Precision welder — Schuylkill County

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Full-time, day shift. Pay around $18 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
