Single needle operator wanted in Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a single needle operator in Jackson County, West Virginia. You will be based at a busy garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
