Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork erector in Barbour County, Alabama. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. The role involves: • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
