Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Funtua, Katsina State. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Day to day you will check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router.
