Earthmoving equipment operator • DeWitt County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in DeWitt County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport Requirements: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence 3+ years on the tools preferred.
