Vacancy available: abattoir worker (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Jackson County, Kentucky. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate 1+ years on the tools preferred. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
